Josh's Days and hope

Hi All

Sorry I haven't posted in a while on Vox; I have been hooked on FB for awhile.   Here's a bit of what's going on.

Josh's ears are on the mend(we hope), but he has had several bad days this week and he has been very moody for awhile. 

Last week, we took him to see a new doctor who is a father of an aspie child and a member of Faces of Hope.  He took a very methodical approach to Josh's treatment and was up on all the lastest research on Autism/ADHD and other behaviour disorders. 

After a bit of waiting, we now have Josh on Risperdal which is a mood stabilizer which is sometimes used for Bipolar disorder(this also runs in the family as it happens)

We pray that this will work and we pray for Josh as well.

I hope the risperdal works well for Josh.  Glad that his ears seem to be on the mend; it's interesting how certain symptoms (fluid/infections in ears, gluten-intolerance or food allergies, etc) seem so common among autism-spectrum children.

Are you getting any singing in?
